Below, you will find links to download each educational "level" of my activity, as well as a downloadable information sheet for educators that explains important concepts to know in relation to the activity itself and a pre-made set of introductory lecture slides. The lecture slides, as well as the activities, are customizable (download in the Microsoft Word and PowerPoint formats for maximum flexibility), and can be modified by educators to best suit their students' experience level and ability.
LEVEL 1
LEVEL 2
The LEVEL 2 version of this activity is best suited for late middle schoolers to early high schoolers (age range roughly 13 - 16). This version builds on foundational biology and ecology concepts and encourages application of prior knowledge.
LEVEL 3
The LEVEL 3 version of this activity is best suited for late high schoolers to introductory-level college students (age range roughly 17+). This version asks more in-depth questions about concepts from multiple disciplines, including evolutionary biology, paleontology, and geology.
The LEVEL 1 version of this activity is best suited for late elementary schoolers to early middle schoolers (age range roughly 8 - 13). This version offers an introduction to paleontology and developmental biology.
